Make this delicious and ultra easy mango mousse that uses just 3 ingredients!
It’s also high protein and did I mention very tasty?!
17g protein!! 140 calories…and full of mango- real mango!
This tastes like the mousse you’d get in-between layers of vanilla sponge cake or mango shortcake. That’s arguably my fav part of this type of mango cake!

You may have seen my cottage cheese Jello mousse recipe before, but I think this one is even better!
Why?
Because it uses real mangoes! The mangoes add so much flavour, natural sweetness, potassium, and some fibre.
This mousse is filling and makes a satisfying dessert, snack, or part of your breakfast!

I used frozen mangoes because it’s not mango season yet. It would be even better with ripe, fresh mangoes! But the frozen ones are still great!

The 3 ingredients for this mango mousse is:
-gelatin powder
-frozen mangoes
-high protein, lower sugar vanilla Greek yogurt. I used Oikos high protein vanilla Greek yogurt (it’s a new product). I picked it up at the grocery store because of it’s high protein, lower sugar, and lower calorie nutritionals. It was really good and creamy for a 0% yogurt (it truly doesn’t taste like 0%). I did a full review on this yogurt here.
You can use any type of Greek yogurt you want. I would recommend using vanilla flavor to add more flavour and sweetness, especially if you are using frozen mangoes.

It’s important to heat the gelatin to warm, not boiling! Warm will activate the gelatin without ruining the integrity and gelling properties- that boiling will cause.
